Tällä Master Class -luennolla pääset tutustumaan Kalifornian Napa Valley helmiin Black Stallion -viinien parissa. Black Stallion on ehdolla AMERICAN WINERY OF THE YEAR by Wine Enthusiast -palkinnon saajaksi vuonna 2023.
Black Stallion Estate Winery saa nimensä vanhasta hevosmaneesista, jossa tilan viinikellari nykyään toimii. Napan kaupungin pohjoispuolella sijaitseva tila on perustettu vuonna 2007. Nuoresta iästään huolimatta se on saanut loistavia arvosteluja erityisesti Cabernet Sauvignon -viineistään. Rypäleet viineihin tulevat pääosin sopimusviljelijöiltä Napa Valleyn eri alueilta.
Viinintekijä Ralf Holdenriedin tavoitteena on luoda jokaisesta Black Stallionin viinistä harmoninen, saumaton kokonaisuus, joka ilmentää lajikkeensa ja kasvupaikkansa parhaita ominaisuuksia.

With this Master Class lecture, you will get to know the gems of California’s Napa Valley with Black Stallion wines. Black Stallion is nominated AMERICAN WINERY OF THE YEAR by Wine Enthusiast for the 2023 Wine Star Awards.
Black Stallion Estate Winery gets its name from the old horse stable, where the estate’s wine cellar is located today. The farm located north of the city of Napa was established in 2007. Despite its young age, it has received excellent reviews, especially for its Cabernet Sauvignon wines. The grapes for the wines come mainly from contract growers from different regions of Napa Valley. Winemaker Ralf Holdenried’s goal is to create a harmonious, seamless whole from each Black Stallion wine, which embodies the best qualities of its variety and place of growth.
