Piemonten merkittävimpiin tuottajiin lähes kahdeksan miljoonan pullon vuosituotannollaan lukeutuva Fontanafredda on kansainvälisesti tunnettu erityisesti arvostetuista Barolo -viineistään. Italian ensimmäisen kuninkaan Victor Emmanuel II:n vuonna 1858 perustama viinitalo kerää rypäleet omien tarhojensa lisäksi lähes 400 sopimusviljelijän palstoilta Piemonten kaikilta merkittävimmiltä alkuperäalueilta.
Tällä Master Class -luennolla pääset tutustumaan Fabio Bosion johdolla kuuteen erilaiseen Barolo-viiniin. Voit vertailla minkälainen vaikutus maaperällä, terroirilla tai eri Piemonten alueilla on viiniin ja millaisen ilmenemismuodon Nebbiolo-rypäle näistä saa. Näiden Piemonten helmien Master Class -luennolla saamme selville, kuinka terroirilla ja viininvalmistuksella on suuri rooli Barolo-viinien luomisessa ja valmistamisessa.

Fontanafredda, which is one of the most important producers in Piedmont with its annual production of almost eight million bottles, is internationally known especially for its prestigious Barolo wines. Founded in 1858 by the first king of Italy, Victor Emmanuel II, the winery collects grapes from its own orchards, from the plots of almost 400 contract growers from all the most important regions of origin in Piedmont.
With this Master Class lecture, led by Fabio Bosio, you will get to know six different Barolo wines. You can compare what kind of effect the soil, terroir or different regions of Piedmont have on the wine and what kind of expression the Nebbiolo grape gets from them. In the Master Class lecture of these gems of Piedmont, we will find out how terroir and winemaking play a big role in the creation and production of Barolo wines.
